The last time I saw Andrew’s work was several years ago, before he left New York. It has been great to become reacquainted with his latest through this virtual gallery. Gallery two evoked images of desolate winter landscapes that transported me back to the film “Blackrobe.” The piece “Runner II” particularly caught my eye.
Beautiful. Deft and intuitive use of mixed media for a subject that requires special sensitivity. These birds have a “touch of weight” on earth and become weightless in the air.
Good thing we actully had the chance to sit and converse on Sunday, I may have never seen any of your work. Truely outstanding, I have a few ideas for some possible collaborations.
